Search For The Needle Codes

Codes are case-sensitive. ALIEN has to be typed in capitals exactly as shown, because the redemption box matches the string literally and will reject alien or Alien.

None. No Search For The Needle code has stopped working yet, so there is nothing to move into an expired list. If you see a page listing half a dozen dead codes for this game, those codes were never real.

When ALIEN eventually stops working we will move it into a table here rather than deleting it, so you can tell the difference between a code that expired and a code that never existed.

1. Open Search For The Needle on Roblox and wait until you are fully loaded into the lobby or a run.
2. Find the Codes button on the right-hand side of the screen and click it.
3. Type ALIEN into the text box exactly as written, in capitals.
4. Press Enter or the Redeem button. The Gems and Alien Coins land immediately.

The rewards are account-wide and one-time. Redeeming on an alt account works, but you cannot claim the same code twice on one account.

• Capitalisation. ALIEN in capitals is the only accepted form.
• Whitespace. Copying the code from a web page often drags a trailing space along with it, which the box counts as part of the string.
• Already redeemed. If you claimed it on this account before, it will refuse the second attempt.
• Stale client. If the game was open through an update, rejoin before trying again.

The 200 Gems are the valuable half. Gems are the only currency that leaves a run with you, and they are spent at the Classes station in the lobby, where every spin costs 40 Gems. So one code is exactly five spins on the class wheel.

That matters more than it sounds. The class wheel is the single biggest permanent upgrade in the game — it is where Forkmaster, Demolitionist and Drone Specialist come from — and five free spins is a meaningful chunk of a new account's early progress.

The 200 Alien Coins are tied to the alien event content that arrived with Chapter 2, which is also where the code name comes from and why the game's title carries an alien emoji.

Garage Games announces codes in its official Discord first, in the same channels that carry update logs and sneak peeks. Every code tracker, this one included, is downstream of that server.

There is no fixed release schedule. Codes have so far appeared alongside content drops rather than on a weekly cadence, and the game has been shipping a major update roughly every five days since launch.

Joining the Garage Games group is worth doing anyway, separately from codes: the in-game free reward panel checks group membership and pays 25 Gems for it. A follow or a favourite does not count — you have to actually join.

We treat the official Discord as the source of truth and cross-check it against independent code trackers before changing anything on this page. On the last pass, nine separate trackers agreed on the same single code and the same reward amounts.

We would rather publish a short accurate list than a long one padded with codes we cannot verify. If a code is not on this page, we could not confirm it existed.
