There is also no video coverage. Searching YouTube for this update returns zero results, which makes sense for something that had not opened when we checked.

It is not clear whether Pets will remain in the game after the 19th or disappear with the event window. Garage Games has not said, so neither will we.

The game already has a companion mechanic, which is useful context rather than a prediction. Drone Specialist, a 1 percent class, grants a permanent drone that flies 30 percent faster and carries 40 percent more hay, with an occasional three-drone swarm.

That is currently the only follower-style helper in the game, and it is built around carrying hay — the exact bottleneck that dominates a run.

Whether Pets work anything like it is unknown. We are flagging the drone because it is the closest existing reference point, not because it tells you what Pets will do.

Three currencies exist today. Cash is per-run and buys tools and upgrades. Gems carry over to the lobby and cost 40 per class spin. Alien Coins are event currency — the ALIEN code gives 200 of them alongside 200 Gems.

Any new system will likely plug into one of these rather than introduce a fourth, but that is inference, not information.

Garage Games has shipped four events in the roughly three weeks since the game was created on 23 August 2026 — a major update about every five days. The game data confirms the last update landed on 11 September, the day before Pets opened.

At that pace, speculation ages badly and fast. A page that guesses pet bonuses today is wrong by the weekend and stays wrong in search results for much longer.
